Beautiful Disaster (s)

Whats up folk? Its been awhile since my last blog, been super busy with the holidays and such. Work has been pretty good since I went dayside and am more comfortable with my camera. I got to cover two Redskins games which was great. Speaking of the Skins it is great to see them fighting for the playoffs and the fact that they swept the Cowgirls makes it even better. I am pissed that I lost to Bandito in the Super Bowl when he shouldnt even have been in the damn thing, 50 some points from a defense is bull shit and Im calling shenanigans. Oh well atleast I am the only one who actually beat him so he didnt have a perfect season.

So my 3 week long Christmas was very good. The week before Christmas we headed up to the R-I-C for my families Christmas, it was good times with good people and good food. Got to hang out with my godson Micah and that was really good also saw my boys John and Jason. It was good to be back home even if just for 2 days. Then Laura and I had Christmas on Christmas Eve and day, she took good care of me and I surprised her with her CD player for her car. I worked all the holidays this winter so I was at work for part of Christmas. We cut out after work heading for PA and her family with a quick stop in Richmond to say hey to my fam and grab some grub. We were crusing along at about 70 mph when a herd of deer (yes a damn herd) decided to walk out in front of us. I missed the first one but tagged the next and boy did he get us good. The passenger front light casings were all busted the quarter panel was dented to hell as was the passenger front door which no longer opens all the was and the damn thing even dented the back door. Oh yeah how could I forget he shit all down the side of the car too def cant forget that one. The good news was that there was no interior damage so we could still cruise on up to the inlaws. We get there and her whole family is there so it was good to see them after the shitty (literally) ride up. I couldnt wait to get showered and changed and just hit the hay, so i go to pick up my suitcase and thing hey this is bigger than i thought. I look up to see Laura look at me then at the suitcase and say "oh no". DAMMIT. She left my suitcase in VA Beach, Merry Christmas Salty. So i didnt beat her I just went to bed and got up the next morning and broke my mother in laws towel rack for good measure. Oh by the way did I tell you that Ive changed my last name to Griswald. However, the rest of the time spent there was great, I finally got to hang out with my niece Emma and she loves me so it was great. It sucked to leave after having such a good time but we had to head back. We had the car checked before we left to make sure it was fine to drive back and it was for the first 45 minutes of the trip. The car broke down and that was fun. We have great insurance so we were only out of it for about an hour, my inlaws lent us a car and we left ours up there to get fixed so everything worked out.

Other than that it has been a great holiday season and I hope it has for all of you peeps. I still dont have my damn 360 and thats the only thing that has sucked. Hope all is well with you out there and keep it gangsta. Word!
